My "Lil Dudes"

Look who made "Whats That Bug"
2 of my E's...Story is...I found a Leaf Cutting bee in my Tat(Crabitat) It was actually on my Piece of Cholla Wood...Totally Harmless to the Hermits.
I also have Found some Mites in my Tat, Poor "Lil Dudes" Had to go about a Week before I got the Predatory Mites...I did give the "Lil Dudes" that were above Surface an Emergency Bath in Double Strength Marine Salt Water...They Did not like it! I dont Blame them either..Poor guys..I dont usually Bathe them.

I Just realized Today's Date....It was 21 Years ago today that I graduated from The U.S Army Basic Training and A.I.T (Advanced Individual Training). I went to Ft. Bliss, Tx (El Paso)for Basic and then it was a long 14+ hour Bus trip to Ft. Sam Houston,Tx (San Antonio). Also On this Date or Yesterday's Date, There was a Coal Mine Accident(Wish I could Remember where) But it Happened here in the U.S. I think 19 Miners were lost. Today's Blog entry is dedicated to the Memory of those Men and Women who lost their Lives on this Date Back in 1984. I really apreciate and Thank You Folks for viewing my Blog......These Pics are for you to enjoy, and from the Comments and Emails...I am Pleased to keep offering my Pics for your viewing Pleasure :)

Well folks, It has been a Lil While Since I have Last Posted any Updates. Am Glad to say that I think Some of my Photos Are getting Better :) I have Decorated My Crabitat and Even Found a Few of the Lil Dudes getting into the Holiday Spirit.

I once had Ironic situation...I was at Ft. Lewis back in the Late 80's, and There were Protestors at the Main Gate, Well we felt pretty upset about it Till General Shwarzkopf Said something like This.....Be Proud to Defend their Right to Protest You...You, afterall are defending the Freedom of Speech.
Kind of had a Similar experience in Iraq. We were convoying thru Beiji ( about 40 miles south of Mosul) it was The day after Sadaam was captured....You want to talk about Protests! OMG!
Almost a Riot...The area was Patrolled by a Mechanised Unit, am Glad they were there, well anyways, I think we impressed them regarding earlier Protests...They were Smaller and it seemed they were a Little fearful of retribution....Well they learned that we were not gonna Kill them for Protesting, Unless they Showed Hostile Intent...Any ways, It kinda felt Ironic in a way. We were actually Protecting them and ourselves...Protecting them from themselves too.

I think I have said enough for now.

Well, It seems People Really Like this Blog...Have an Update.
Went and got a 30 Gal Breeder Tank yesterday for My LIL Dudes! Gads this is Fun! The Tank wasn't too Expensive...It is actaully a Critter Cage...Has a Screened Lid...I have Saran Wrap over the screen to help Keep the Humidity up in the Crabitat. Boy Did they Make a Mess of things overnight! Moss Everywhere! LOL Oh Well...They are fun to Watch.

The Darker Photo was taken When I was on "Tower Guard" Was taken Early in the Morning, Sometime Near 6 A.M It was taken on Dec.7,2003 Good God it does get cold in Iraq and wet as well, During the "Rainy Season". Dont know the temps at that time Picture was taken. Let me tell you! it was pretty darn cold, especially when the wind Blew.

Durring the Summer! I think it was Early-mid August, Daytime Temps were above 150.
our Tent, which also had a Digital Thermometer, Read (durring the Night)124!

Oh well, anyways, Can ya tell I have a new hobby! Very enjoyable. Relaxing to Boot!

GOD! I loved these Kids. This was Near Tikrit. See the lil Flashlight on my Flak Jacket! Do you know how many of those Suckers I went thu???!At night some bombs or something would explode and the power would go out.
